Where Legends Live On The Blockchain!
Kingdom Of Pop ($KOP) is a visionary Solana-based Web3 project that brings the legacy of The Jacksons variety television show into the world of digital ownership. Originally aired on CBS between 1976 and 1977, the show was developed by Jackson Television Productions and featured 12 episodes starring the Jackson siblings—Michael, Janet, Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, La Toya, Marlon, and Randy. It blended musical performances, comedy sketches, and guest appearances, marking a historic moment as the first network prime-time show hosted by an African-American family. Today, all intellectual property rights to the show and its master recordings are exclusively owned by Mr. Henry Vaccaro, who legally acquired them through U.S. Bankruptcy Court proceedings in 1999. This transfer of ownership was officially acknowledged by Joseph W. Jackson, the Jackson family patriarch, affirming Mr. Vaccaro’s authority to commercialize and protect the show’s legacy.
With $KOP, this legacy is being revived and reimagined for a new era. By utilizing blockchain technology, NFTs, and decentralized media, Kingdom Of Pop offers fans and collectors exclusive access to rare archival footage, memorabilia, and unreleased content from The Jacksons television show. The project allows the global fanbase to participate in preserving pop culture history—transforming timeless entertainment assets into digital experiences and collectible ownership. More than just a tribute, $KOP is a cultural movement that honors the world’s most iconic music family while embracing the creative and financial potential of Web3 technology.
